Hard Ways was first workshopped by the Playwright with Ian Carpenter and Stephanie Jones in the spring of 06 as part of the Essential Collective Theatre’s first Wine & Reading Series. This workshop was made possible through a grant from the city of St Catharines through its Cultural Investment Program. Hard Ways was first produced by the ECT as part of the 2007 Summer Works Theatre festival in Toronto. Hard Ways premiered in St Catharines at the Sullivan Mahoney Theatre as the first show in ECT's 07/08 season.
